Preacher, speaker, teacher, author and life coach Curtis is one of today's most anointed and sought after speakers. Curtis is impacting the lives of many as he delivers his positive message at conferences, colleges, universities, religious institutions and corporations. Determined to make a major contribution in the lives of others is something that Curtis did not ever see himself doing.

Raised in Chicago, his south side neighborhood was home to gang violence, alcohol, drugs (distribution & addiction), prostitution and generational poverty. The combination of these factors destroyed his community by demolishing the spirit of the local residents. Homelessness is what he saw, poverty is what he experienced and hopelessness is what he felt. However, in the face of adversity, Curtis was taught by his parents that God could do anything.

After graduating high school, his principles were tested daily as he continued to live in a poverty stricken community. At a time when drug distribution and drug abuse reached monumental heights, Curtis entered a life of crime and violence. He and his brother became the two most recognized drug dealers on the south side of Chicago. At nineteen years of age, Curtis found himself in the midst of a gang and drug war.

The drug war that started in his neighborhood ended with death on the steps of his front porch. Scared by the pain of losing people who were close to him, Curtis contemplated suicide. When nothing mattered to him anymore, he knew a change was necessary in his life and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.

From the beginning of his new walk with Christ, Curtis took his message to the same streets that he once flooded with drugs and gang violence. It was on those streets that Curtis developed a love for soul winning. Armed with the word of God and a passion for seeing people converted, Curtis is driven to empower everyone he comes in contact with.  

Curtis graduated with honors with a B.A. in speech communication and is currently pursuing a Masters in Divinity. He is also the CEO of New Beginning Realty, Inc. and Lead S.M.A.R.T., a self-development agency designed to help all students succeed in and out of the classroom.
